I finally got my [consolation] prize from Skinfood Singapore after a month of waiting

Remember my post about my review of the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum? I was one of the first few to receive a 10ml sampler so that I could write about it. The original deadline for all submissions was August 20, 2013 so I submitted my review on that date via email and facebook. Only to find out that the deadline was moved to August 23, 2013. Okay, no problem. At least I submitted my review early. And I mentioned Skinfood Singapore on my facebook wall, where I also shared my permalink. Though I am not sure if they’ve seen it. Oh well.

They were only going to pick three winners out of all the participants. But before the announcement, I admit I was expecting their email regarding the redemption of the consolation prizes because I was not so sure that I will be one of the winners (they did promise that prizes will be given to all those who wrote reviews). I was thinking that maybe they’ll send it after choosing the winners. 18th of September 2013, they announced the third winner on their facebook page. But alas! I still haven’t received any email from them. I checked out the blog of the winner and that’s when I saw her post about the redemption of her consolation prize. It was written on September 10. I was thinking that maybe Skinfood forgot me or maybe they never really received my submission *sniff*. So I sent them a message on facebook and they asked my details (including the permalink of my review) so they could send the long awaited Black Sugar Scrub Foam 50g and Black Sugar Perfect First Serum 30ml to the nearest redemption outlet. They told me I could claim it starting September 25 but I was only able to pick it up last Saturday, September 28.

Sorry, Skinfood for being emotional. I was just eager to receive another dose of your perfect serum. I hope next time you won’t forget me even if I’m not a Singaporean or a Singapore PR :P
